Accessing Instructor Folders
from Other Locations

After logging on to ADILSTU by either logging on to a campus computer with your ULID and password or by connecting through ITools from home, the most important thing you need to know about getting to your Instructor Folder is the following "path name":

\\datastore01\stv250\

1. Right click on "My Computer" (or on "Network Neighborhood" if that does not work).
2. Select "Map Network Drive" and in "Path" type: \\datastore01\stv250
3. When you double click on "My Computer" you will see that you can now open the Instructor Folders (STV250).

Or to save to or open a file to/from the Instructor Folder in Word:

1. Under "File" select "save as" or "open"
2. In "File Name" type: \\datastore01\stv250
3. Click "save" or "open" depending on which you are doing
4. This will now open the screen with all of the Instructor Folders.
5. Find the location you want to save to or open a file from and proceed as normal.

A Word about Space
The space available for the Instructor Folders is large but not unlimited. Do not use the Folders for saving personal, non-class-related documents (Use your H: drive for personal files, as your instructor may delete anything not related to the class to create more space.)
